Rev., the overdrive as Petla defines it.
As the words "an antithesis to Petla so far" suggest, this model steps beyond the brand's previous focus on transparency and freshness, built instead to unleash a player's expression more aggressively.
More than just distorting your sound, it brings the exact image in your head to life — from the presence of an amp turned up loud, to a rich, pedal-like character. A special pedal that becomes your "compass" for sounding out your own voice with confidence across the vast sea of the ensemble.
A spread that recalls a full amp
The heart of Rev.'s sound lies in its distinctive two-band EQ: "Resonance" and "Presence."
Turn the knobs clockwise, and it becomes dynamic and aggressive, as if a large amp were roaring right in front of you. It draws out an amp's natural voice, working brilliantly not just as a main drive but also as an always-on pedal that lifts your entire tone.
A pedal's own deep character
Turn it counterclockwise, and it shifts to a tight, narrow, characterful tone unique to a pedal. It sharpens your place in the mix and intuitively guides you toward a more assertive tone when you need to step forward.
Amp-like power and pedal-like character. Being able to move freely between the two gives you real confidence — the ability to build the exact sound you want, instantly, wherever you play.
What really moves us about a pedal, perhaps,
is what scenery its sound lets us imagine.
Anyone who buys a Petla product through Cullate will receive a limited-edition zine, made by Petla's designer to express the pedal's world and imagery.
Turn its pages with one hand, set the knobs, and listen closely to the sound that pours out.
Take your time to enjoy the moment when the story Petla put into this sound meets a scene from your own memory.

Product Info
A new compass for turning the image in your head into sound.
Stepping beyond Petla's usual transparent style, this overdrive aggressively unlocks the player's own inner expression.
It features two EQ controls: "Resonance" and "Presence."
Turn both knobs clockwise for a dynamic, amp-like sound as if a large amp were roaring right in front of you; turn them counter-clockwise for a tighter, pedal-like tone. It moves freely from an extension of your amp's own sound to a more aggressive tone all its own.
