white note Inc. (below, the Company) handles personal information in accordance with the standards set out below, and works to manage and protect it appropriately.
1. Collecting personal information
When we collect personal information in the course of transactions with customers, in providing our services, or from our own employees, we collect it by lawful and fair means in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. We use personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
2. Using personal information
We hold the personal information you consent to provide, and unless particular circumstances set out in law or regulation apply, we may use it for the following purposes.
・Billing for purchases and shipping the products ordered
・Responding to requests and enquiries from customers
・Conducting surveys about our services and products
・Sending information such as announcements of products, campaigns and events
・Providing after-sales support relating to the products purchased
・Providing our incidental services relating to the above
3. Disclosing and providing personal information to third parties
We do not provide or disclose the personal information we collect to any third party without consent, other than where required by law or similar (except as set out in sections 8 and 9 below). Where the needs of our business require us to provide personal information to a contractor, we oblige that contractor to protect personal information through a confidentiality agreement or similar, and we manage the contractor so that it handles personal information appropriately.
4. Enquiries about your personal information
If you wish to see, correct or delete your own personal information, we will confirm your identity and respond within a reasonable scope.
5. Personal information of minors
We protect the information we collect from minors to the same standard as that of adults. Where necessary, we may ask for the consent of a parent or guardian.
6. Compliance with laws and related standards
In handling personal information, we comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws and regulations that apply to businesses handling personal information.
7. Disclosure, correction and deletion of personal information
Where we receive a request to disclose, correct or delete personal information, we confirm that the request comes from the person concerned and respond promptly. Depending on the record, material containing personal information is kept for a set period and then disposed of, so disclosure, correction and deletion of original paper documents are outside the scope of this.
8. Use of cookies and similar technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies (below, cookies) to provide our services, to analyse how the site is used, and to deliver and measure advertising. Through cookies, we and the following companies may collect information about your browsing.

・Google (measurement of advertising)

9. Use of Shopify
This site runs on the platform provided by Shopify Inc. and its affiliates (below, Shopify). Your information is stored on Shopify's servers outside Japan (including in the United States), and may be shared with Shopify and with the third-party services Shopify uses, in order to provide services such as payment, shipping and fraud detection. Shopify may also provide services, such as optimising the payment methods offered, based on your activity on this site and on other stores that use Shopify.
